TIL: Google's docs don't support the robots "follow" directive:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, follow" />
Which nearly all SEO articles lists as a valid practice. Might've missed something, but does Google ignore follow directives now? cc @johnmuhttps://t.co/5O12E4Fn7C pic.twitter.com/JvaNASoI4P

Yeah, it's the default, so there's no need to specify it. It's like putting "allow: /" as the only directive in your robots.txt. Or like building a highway and adding a sign "cars allowed". It's not going to cause problems, but you're not surprising anyone either.
